Where the echo murmured

This collection delves into the anatomy of cultural trauma-moral codes that bind the emotional strings of the soul like a corset, allowing the symbols of the past to invade modernity in the form of ghosts.

This collection explores dualities in the status of femininity: freedom, presented through the power of the romantic world, close to insanity, and constraint, introduced through rationality, structure, and moral codes. The pattern cutting language of the collection interprets male jacket patterns from the early 19th century, reassembling them into feminine forms. Delicate laser-cut details and floral prints on sheer fabrics, symbolizing the romantic world of emotional power, stand in contrast to layered wools with structured corsetry, blurring the lines between liberation and repression, evoking a ghostly memory.

By revisiting forgotten struggles through symbols of the past, the designs challenge the current boundaries between opposites: reality and myth, rationality and emotion, masculinity and femininity, opening the historically oppressed sides in a state of rebellion.

At its core, this collection questions the modern craving for intimacy and tactility in the digital age, inviting viewers to reconnect with their own layered histories.
